Jackson + Groarke Architecture was founded by Greg Jackson and Donal Groarke in 2013. Máirtín D’Alton MRIAI became a Director in 2015 and Ultan Ó Conchubhair joined as a Graduate Architect. The Studio was also joined by Waleed Qoqandi as BIM Coordinator and Architectural Technologist.
We are a ‘Housing First’ design studio with research interests in collaborative design, digital fabrication and architectural conservation. The Director’s broad skill-sets encompass design, finance, construction, digital fabrication, property development, project management, conservation, environmental design, academia, regional development and housing strategic policy. The three directors have also been part-time tutors in both the UCD School of Architecture and Dublin School of Architecture DIT.
Along with our very talented studio team, we focus these diverse interests on delivering our passion for design excellence and build quality, grounded in the belief that design can and should make a contribution to social capital, environmental sustainability and economic realism. We don’t try to be all things to all wo/men.
We have collaborated with several notable clients to deliver case studies and concepts in the fields of digital fabrication, construction, master planning and university campus development.
